Blue Dart trades in red and collaborates with India Post to offer a digital locker service.

Blue Dart partnered with India Post to offer consignees digital parcel lockers at various post offices across the country.

Blue Dart’s shares fell on November 20 after rising more than 1% during the day. In certain post offices, the logistics company and India Post have partnered to provide customers with digital parcel lockers.

At different post offices, recipients can retrieve Blue Dart shipments from digital parcel lockers by using a code that has been assigned to open the locker. The packages are only accessible to authorised personnel, and the deliveries are available for collection at any time. To drive this initiative, Blue Dart has partnered with Podrones, a last-mile technology and parcel locker company.

By 0.08 percent from the previous session’s closing price, the company’s shares were trading flat on the NSE at Rs 6,856 as of 1:04 PM.

With a market valuation of Rs 16.282.9 crore, the company is financially secure. As evidenced by the counter’s one-year beta of 0.49, volatility is quite low. 55.7 is the current PE ratio.

As of the quarter that ended in September, promoter DHL Express (Singapore) held 75 percent of the shares, while FIIs and DIIs held 4.7 percent and 11.8 percent, respectively. The flagship investment vehicle of Radhakishan Damani, Bright Star Investments, held 1.29 percent of the 8.5 percent held by the general public.
