Bottega Veneta Updates Dubai Store with Matthieu Blazy Style

Reopening its location in the Mall of Emirates, Bottega Veneta unveiled a new design concept created by Matthieu Blazy.

The renovated area honors Venice, the birthplace of the company, as well as traditional Italian materials. The storefront and interior are decorated with concrete tiles that were influenced by the well-known Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa. These tiles provide a calm and elegant atmosphere.

Refined aesthetic elements include gorgeous Verde Saint Denis marble from northern Italy, Italian walnut wood shelving, display stands, and mirrors. Signature Bottega Veneta materials are evoked by soft textures like wool carpeting and woven leather seating in green, brown, and black hues.

Fixtures like the ceramic plant pots made by the same Milan workshop that creates the brand’s enamelled ceramic embellishments and the main door handle that resembles the Sardine bag are inspired by iconic Bottega Veneta designs.

The shop unveils a more advanced customisation option that includes a wooden room divider that folds to provide a secluded area for made-to-order services. Customers can choose colors, fabrics, and customization details to create their own unique Bottega Veneta bags in this section.

Revolving doors made of Verde Saint Denis marble in the back lead to a small VIC space that features a collection of the brand’s jewelry together with 15 exclusive Knot bags from the brand’s heritage.

Bottega Veneta’s new candle collection and the Pre-Fall collection will make their debuts at the new boutique. The business will debut six exceptional handbags in exotic leathers and three unique Sardine bags with ceramic handles to commemorate its reopening.
