Congressman Jairam Ramesh, general secretary of the Congress, stated on Saturday that the party is asking for a mandate based on the work its government has completed in Rajasthan over the past five years, while the BJP is focusing on polarization, the ED, and the CBI.

The accusations, in his words, are “totally baseless”.
In a public speech in Udaipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi charged that the Congress administration was harboring terrorist sympathies.
“In the last five years, Rajasthan has transformed into a role model state, raising apprehensions for the Prime Minister. With a scarcity of other focal points, the ED and CBI are being mobilized. The Prime Minister and his associates persistently engage in the strategy of fostering division,” remarked Ramesh at a press briefing in Jaipur.
The BJP, he claimed, is not in a position to comment on the plans of the Congress government, so they cannot discuss them.
