Kangana Ranaut expresses confidence in the outcome of the Lok Sabha Elections for the BJP

“Bhagwa hi lehrayega”: Kangana Ranaut expresses confidence in the outcome of the Lok Sabha Elections for the BJP

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is running for the Lok Sabha seat in Mandi as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2024, has stated that she is confident the saffron party would win the upcoming elections.

The actor-turned-politician declared, “Bhagwa hi lehraya tha, Bhagwa hi lehrayega (there was a saffron wave, there will be a saffron wave)” in an NDTV interview.

Ranaut was in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, on Tuesday, campaigning for her party colleague Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. “People’s enthusiasm and energy are evident, as is their love for the BJP,” the speaker remarked.

An element of mystery has been introduced to the election battle for a Congress constituency that has historically supported Kangana Ranaut through her hometown of Mandi’s nomination. Vikramaditya Singh, the son of the late former chief minister Virbhadra Singh, has been selected by the Congress to fight the BJP in the constituency.

The Mandi constituency is regarded as the Virbhadra family’s stronghold. In 2021, an Assembly bye-election was held to fill the seat now occupied by the late leader’s widow, Pratibha Devi Singh, after BJP MP Ram Swaroop Sharma passed away.

In Himachal Pradesh, there will be a Lok Sabha election on June 1. Simultaneous polling will also be conducted for the six Assembly seats that became vacant after six rebel Congress MLAs were disqualified.

After winning all four of the Himachal Pradesh seats in 2019, the BJP is aiming for a repeat performance this year.

To develop the strategy for the Mandi Constituency, Pratibha Singh, the Chief of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, called a full-day conference in Shimla last week.

She said she hoped the Mandi-based Congress candidate would win the Lok Sabha seat as well.

“It’s great that Kangana Ranaut is campaigning; she has a duty and responsibility to do so since the BJP awarded her the ticket. We’ve already been there, so we don’t need to worry about it. We don’t have to introduce ourselves to the populace. They have been with us and know us. “I’m hoping that they will support our candidates and send them to the Parliament again this time,” Singh remarked.
