Mamata Banerjee, the leader of the Trinamool Congress and chief minister of Bengal, was hurt on Saturday when she slipped and fell aboard a helicopter in Durgapur.

She had just about gotten a seat inside the helicopter when the incident occurred after she had climbed the adjustable stairs in front of it. Before it could take off, the helicopter was waiting for the Chief Minister to board.
Her security staff came to Mamata Banerjee’s aid right away after she sustained a slight injury. A little later, she made her way to Asansol as planned.
After injuring herself in a fall outside her Kolkata residence, the chief minister of Bengal was admitted to the hospital in May. Her forehead was deeply slashed, and images showed blood pouring down her face. She was sent to the SSKM hospital, which is run by the state.
Mamata Banerjee was injured in her leg in June 2023 after an emergency landing of her helicopter was necessitated by bad weather at Sevoke airbase, which is near Siliguri. Her left knee and left hip joints both have ligament damage.
