More than 50 lakh new users joined the site during these events, and Meesho processed nearly 1 crore orders over the course of four sale days.

Interestingly, tier II+ markets like Amravati, Aurangabad, Dehradun, Nellore, Solapur, and Warangal accounted for over 75% of the demand during these sale events. Meesho has added roughly 2 lakh new sellers over the past two months in anticipation of the holiday season.

Retail India News ,Meesho has proactively addressed selection gaps by launching new sub-categories and goods that are in line with emerging trends, such as festive decorations like jharokhas, diya thalis, rangoli stencils, torans, lanterns, and string lights, thereby meeting changing consumer demand. Rising demand for kitchen organizers, jars, and containers is one of the noteworthy patterns seen during the pre-festive sale period. The younger generation is exhibiting interest in quick-to-wear ethnic clothing such as “ready-to-wear sarees,” “skirt sarees,” “lehenga sarees,” and “2-minute sarees.” Customers are also drawn to products with natural components in the Personal Care and Beauty area.

Meesho is dedicated to making sure that customers around India have a broad variety of cheap options to select from throughout this festive season. Meesho has close to 14 lakh vendors and close to 12 crore product listings spread over 30 categories.
