Modi Means Development: Naidu Applauds PM After NDA Returns and They Share the Stage at the Andhra Rally

On Sunday night in the Palnadu district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a large National Democratic Alliance rally called “Prajagalam”—the voice of the people. Speaking to the crowd at the rally, Prime Minister Modi announced that Andhra Pradesh voters have chosen to back the NDA’s development agenda in the next elections.

“The entire country is saying 4 June ko 400 paar,” he continued.

The Prime Minister emphasized in his speech that his government is turning Andhra into a center for education. He also listed the top universities in the state, including the IIT and IIM in Vizag, the National Academy of Customs, and Tirupati.

In addition, the prime minister claimed that 25 crore people had left poverty as a result of the NDA government’s efforts on behalf of the underprivileged. “Our government has provided 10 lakh houses in Andhra Pradesh,” he continued.

On behalf of five crore Telugu people, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu took the stage and greeted the Prime Minister.

In advance of the Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh assembly elections, this is the first joint public gathering of the NDA partners in Andhra Pradesh in ten years.

For the first time, all three of the leaders shared the stage at a rally for the 2024 elections when they joined Modi at the public gathering. Janasena leader Pawan Kalyan and TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu also attended.

The president of the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan, referred to the impending elections as “Kurukshetra” in his speech and declared, “This is the fight for dharma and we will win it.”

Naidu declared after Pawan Kalyan’s speech that Modi is Vishwaguru. Modi stands for welfare and future development. Our pride is Modi.

The gathering, called Prajagalam, is the first NDA election gathering in Andhra Pradesh before the concurrent May 13 Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

According to Janasena, the goal of Prajagalam is to “chase away atrocious politics” in order to secure Andhra Pradesh’s bright future. Large numbers of TDP, Janasena, and BJP cadres are being mobilized for the meeting.

The TDP unveiled a unique logo with pictures of Modi, Naidu, and Kalyan ahead of the meeting. After a lengthy meeting at Naidu’s Andhra Pradesh home in Undavalli on March 11, the NDA partners finalized their seat-sharing arrangement for the Lok Sabha and state elections. Under the arrangement, the TDP will contest 144 state seats and 17 parliamentary seats, while the BJP will compete for six Lok Sabha and ten assembly seats.

Janasena, led by Pawan Kalyan, is running for 21 assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats. Naidu has already revealed the identities of 128 candidates for the assembly elections; the remaining 16 could be revealed at any moment.

Thus far, the Janasena has declared seven candidates, Kalyan being one of them, running for assembly from the Pithapuram constituency. The list of BJP candidates for the elections has not yet been released. Naidu announced a few days ago that the BJP, Janasena, and TDP have chosen to run jointly in the Andhra Pradesh assembly and Lok Sabha elections, with PM Modi providing dynamic and visionary leadership.

Our state’s advancement, development, and the betterment of its citizens are our top priorities. Aspiring for India to become a global leader, we are dedicated to the country’s development,” he had stated. The state’s interests and its future will be the top priority and a major motivator during seat-sharing talks, according to Naidu and the other NDA partners.

Arriving on a special flight from Delhi, PM Modi touched down at Gannavaram Airport by 4.10 pm. From Gannavaram Airport, the PM traveled by helicopter to Palnadu district, arriving at the meeting location in Boppudi village at approximately 5:00 pm.
