Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries (RIL), received a death threat on Monday morning for the third time. ‘One sniper’ is enough, Ambani was told in a letter, regardless of how strict his security is. According to India Today, the email went on to say that since he disregarded the senders, he must now pay Rs 400 crore.
The Mumbai Police is currently investigating whether or not Mukesh Ambani received the threat email from a real or bogus email address. In an attempt to obtain information about the email address, the police have also made contact with the mail provider company.
For the past four days, he has been receiving death threats via a single email address. Officials claim that every threat email has included a ransom demand.
Mukesh Ambani has now received three emails threatening his life. The chairman of Reliance Industries received a death threat via email last week, threatening to kill the richest businessman in India unless he paid a ransom of Rs 20 crore.

As per an India Today report, the mail stated, “We have the best shooters in India.” Using sections 387 (putting someone in fear of death or great harm in order to commit extortion) and 506 (2) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code, Mumbai’s Gamdevi Police Station filed a case at the time.
Based on the security-in-charge Mukesh Ambani’s complaint, the police took action. One more email threatening Ambani’s life arrived a day later. This time, the message threatened to shoot Ambani in the head if he didn’t give them Rs 200 crore.
Akash, Isha, and Anant Ambani, the children of Mukesh Ambani, received approval from shareholders to join the RIL board in the meantime. According to a stock exchange filing, Anant received 92.7% of the votes, while Isha and Akash received over 98% of the votes for a board seat.
