Rahul Gandhi will go to Sri Sankardev’s birthplace on January 22.

Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh announced on Saturday that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Bordowa Satra, the birthplace of Sri Sankardev in Assam’s Nagaon district, on Pran Pratishtha day.

The ninth day of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is January 22. Rahul Gandhi will pay his respects to Sri Sri Sankardev in Bordowa Satra in Nagaon district, where he was born, at seven in the morning, Jairam Ramesh told ANI on Saturday in Lakhimpur, Assam.

Speaking about the importance of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the birthplace of one of the nation’s most well-known social reformers, the Congressman stated, “Sankaradev is one of our nation’s great religious gurus and social reformers, and his contributions from the 15th and 16th centuries are still an inspiration today. In the context of today, his teachings are important.

“The only person in our country who is arrogant is the Prime Minister,” Jairam Ramesh responded to claims that the leading Congressmen are against the Ram Temple because they are conceited.

Jairam Ramesh, speaking on the Congress rejecting the notion of “One Nation One Election,” stated, “The Congress President has issued a thorough letter to the Commission outlining our opposition to One Nation One Election, which is three pages long. We will fight it tooth and nail because it is anti-democracy.”

The Congress declined Lord Ram Lalla’s invitation to his “Pran Pratistha” event. Sonia Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, and Mallikarjun Kharge, three prominent members of the Congress party, have ‘declined’ an invitation to the esteemed Ayodhya event. The BJP has responded to this with an all-out assault on the opposing party.

On Thursday, Ayodhya was decorated with colorful petals and donned a festive ensemble in anticipation of the ‘Pran Prathistha’ on January 22. The city was waiting for Lord Ram to return after a 500-year exile.

The initial image of the idol, which was concealed by a veil, was made public this week during the sanctum sanctorum placement ceremony. Sharad Sharma, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s communications coordinator, released the pictures. Within the hallowed confines of the Sri Ram Temple, venerated Acharyas and Brahmins from the Vedic tradition were observed conducting worship sessions.

The principal ceremonies will be carried out by a group of priests under the direction of Lakshmikant Dixit, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark the “Pran Pratishtha” with rituals. Leading dignitaries and a number of celebrities have been invited to the occasion.
