Global chess champion Garry Kasparov made a subtle jab at Congressman Rahul Gandhi, who is standing for both the Wayanad seat and the Raebareli Lok Sabha seat. According to tradition, you should defeat Raebareli before vying for the top spot, stated the Russian Grandmaster.

Kasparov answered, “It is customary to win from Raebareli before attempting to challenge for the top rank.”
