The Jaipur-based company Wooden Street, which sells furniture and décor for homes, recently opened a new production plant and research and development (R&D) center in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The new plant, which is more than 10 lakh square feet in size, can produce 4–5 lakh units a year, which translates to an annual revenue projection of Rs 500–700 crore.
This extension project will cost between Rs 50 and Rs 70 crore and will use automated machinery that is state-of-the-art and equipped with cutting-edge technology. The improved R&D center will give priority to improving prototype methods, which will spur creativity in material and product design.

At present, Wooden Street has production plants with a total area of more than 15,00,000 square feet located in Jodhpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Bengaluru. In addition, the organization possesses a robust supply chain network that includes 35 carefully positioned facilities throughout the country.
